Streeter McIlravy has signed a national letter of intent to Coe College to continue his academic and basketball career. Streeter said this about attending Coe next fall, "I am super excited for this next chapter in my life."
As a freshman Streeter played in 29 games and started in 27. He averaged 9.7 ppg, 4.0 rpg, and had a 46.2% field goal percentage in his first year. He also shot 87% from the free throw line and was named to the All Region 11 Honorable Mention team. As a sophomore, Streeter was named to the All Region 11 second team. McIlravy appeared in 32 games averaging 9.0 ppg, 5.2 rpg, while shooting 43% from the field. He also shot 91.7% from the free throw line which lead the country. In his time at Iowa Lakes the Lakers recorded 45 wins and 18 losses and were 17-7 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play. Coach Larson stated, "Streeter has been a reliable sophomore leader for us this past season. As a coaching staff we could count on him to perform on the court and in the classroom."
Streeter has earned All-Region Academic honors in the Fall of 2016, Spring of 2017, and Fall of 2017.
Streeter had this to say about his time as a player at Iowa Lakes, "Iowa Lakes helped me grow as an individual both on and off the court, I am extremely thankful for the support that I have received from my teammates, the coaching staff, community, administration, instructors, and staff at Iowa Lakes".
Commencement will be Friday, May 11th at 7pm in Laker Gymnasium.
