Iowa Lakes athletes were recently honored by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) for academic achievements for the spring semester of 2025. Every sport is recognized each semester.
The ICCAC recognized 140 Iowa Lakes student-athletes for their academic achievement. The ICCAC has two award classifications: First-Team (3.5-4.0 GPA), Second-Team (3.0-3.49 GPA).
"I'm proud of the amount of student athletes that we have recognized on the academic all-region teams. It shows our coaches are working hard to stress academics with our student-athletes. Working hard and succeeding in the classroom is an important part of being a student-athlete and that priority is reflected with this honor," said Athletic Director Troy Larson.
