The Lakers Swimming and Diving Team traveled to Decorah, IA for the Sprint Invite at Luther College. At this met, the events were focused on the 50's and 100's of each stroke with a little bit of distance mixed in.

Your Laker Men competed in a multitude of events, starting with Freshman Jochem Lemmens competed in the 50 breaststroke and got a qualifying time of 29.68, he also competed in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.28, the 100 Breststroke with a time of 1:08.32 and in the 50 free with a time of 24.28. Freshman Ethan Heideyer competed in the 100 Fly with a time of 52.44, the 50 free with a time of 22.23, the 100 free with a time of 48.40 and the 50 fly with a time of 24.12. 

Sophomore Lucas Neuvonen competed in the 50 Breaststroke with a time of 33.86, the 50 free with a time of 25.73, the 100 free with a time of 58.12and the 50 fly with a time of 27.98. Sophomore Grant Bumsted competed in the 50 breast with a 29.70, the 100 fly with a 59.22,the 100 breast with a 1.08.44 and the 50 fly with a 25.79.

The first meet after winter break is alway tough, but the Lakers are tougher! They compete again this weekend down in Council Bluffs in the Quad Community college meet!
