Down in Council Bluffs, your Laker Swimming and Diving took on Barton, Iowa Western and Iowa Central at the Quad Community college Meet. 

Starting the meet off the mens 200 Medley Relay consisting of Freshmen Jochem Lemmens, Ethan Heideyer, Roberto Suarez and Sophomore Grant Bumsted finsihed with a time of 1:41.59. Going right into his next event was Suarez swimming the 1000 Free getting a new season best time of 10:34.90 taking 1st place overall. Lemmens took on the 200 free getting a season best time of 1:52.25. Heideyer winning the 100 Backstroke with a time of 53.05. Bumsted swam the 100 Breaststroke in 1:05.51.

50 Fly ended with Heideyer taking second palce with a 23.99, Bumsted with a 25.58, Lemmens with a 26.59 and sophomore Lucas Neuvonen fnishing with a 26.88, and swimming the 100 Free in 55.58.

Heideyer pulled off a 1st place finish in the 50 Back with a time of 25.11 which is a new personal best time! 

Suarez finishing the 500 Free in 3rd place with a new season best time of 5:05.24. 

Finishing the day with the 100 IM in second place, Lemmens with a time of 58.03, Bumsted finished with a 59.48, and Nuevoneen coming in with a season best time of 1:05.26.

Your Lakers travel north to U of M-Morris on Friday to take on Morris and Concordia!
