Iowa Lakes Community College Head Coach Ashley Martin signs Rain Coleman, a 5'9" forward from Sulligent, Alabama. 

"We are very excited to add Rain Coleman to our Iowa Lakes family," said Coach Martin. Rain will give us added depth in the low post this season. She will be a match up nightmare with her left hand and can stretch the defense with her outside shot. I look forward to seeing Rain in an Iowa Lakes uniform.

Rain graduated from Sulligent High School in Alabama. Throughout Rain's high school career at Sulligent High School, Rain averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals per game. Rain also earned awards for having the most rebounds, most points and being the offensive player of the year for the Lady Devils. Rain earned these awards multiple teams during her basketball with the Lady Devils at Sulligent High School.

Rain had this to say about her decision to become a Laker, "I chose Iowa Lakes Community College because of the education that I'm going to earn while I attend Iowa Lakes. It will be great for my future. Also the faculty members at Iowa Lakes are very kind and willing to help with anything."
