The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball Program held its second annual girl's clinic for grades K-12 yesterday April 29th, 2018 at Iowa Lakes Community College. Roughly 20 campers participated in the clinic between the two age groups. Each camper engaged in improving their fundamentals and skills of the game of basketball. The clinic was comprised of a variety of things; ball handling drills, foot work drills, shooting and passing techniques a long with a variety of other fundamental and skill development drills.
Iowa Lakes women's basketball player, Lemia Ntor-Ue had this to say about the clinic, "It was really fun! I enjoyed working with the kids and helping them improve their basketball skills."
"It was a great day! The campers were able to learn a lot of fundamentals and spend time with our players. We had a great group of campers. Thank you to all the participants and families for attending," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
