Estherville, IA – Iowa Lakes Community College is proud to announce the inaugural Daryl Madison Classic, a men's and women's basketball classic dedicated to the memory of Daryl Madison, a long-time supporter and friend of Iowa Lakes athletics. The tournament will be held on Friday, October 31st, and Saturday, November 1st, at the Iowa Lakes Community College gymnasium.

Daryl Madison was a remarkable ambassador for Iowa Lakes, known for his unwavering loyalty, community spirit, and passion for supporting student-athletes. Daryl drove the bus for Iowa Lakes Community College and was inducted into the Iowa Lakes Hall of Fame in 2023. He passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 72. This classic honors his legacy and the values he exemplified: community, character, connection, and a commitment to student-athlete development.

The tournament will feature teams from across the region, showcasing their talent and sportsmanship in a competitive and spirited environment.
