Lady Lakers traveled to Marion, IA, to compete in Mount Mercy's two-day event at Hunters Ridge. The field featured 14 teams. Indian Hills CC set the pace with 628 total. Morningside took 2nd, and host Mount Mercy finished 3rd. Hayden Fenimore led the Lakers after day 1 with a 93. Unfortunately, Hayden was sidelined by the flu bug on the second day. Leah Becker posted rounds of 105,99 for a total of 204. Alyssa Schorg came in with a total of 214, and Abby Davis carded a 228 total. 

"Hunters Ridge had challenges that our ladies weren't prepared for. They fought their way in each day! The beginning of the year has been hectic, and the lack of practice has been exposed. Sometimes it helps to get smacked in the mouth a bit in order to realize the areas we really need to focus on. The good news is we play Highland Park next week, and this experience will make any course seem easier," said Coach Myers.
