The Lakers had three ladies competing as individuals at NIACC's Fall Invitational. For the team competition, Iowa Central set the pace with a score of 320. DMACC took second place, only two strokes behind the lead at 322. NIACC rounded out the top-3 with a score of 333. Iowa Lakes was unable to post a team score, only having three individuals competing. Sophomore Leah Becker led the Lakers with a round of 88, earning herself 22nd place. Abby Davis carded a round of 95 (29th place). Madilyn Arp-Cornell finished with a score of 104 (32nd place).
"I've seen a steady improvement from our ladies this fall. As we continue to polish the problem areas, we will start to notice a difference on the scorecard. For now, we just need to remain consistent with our preparation and continue working hard. The results are bound to come," said Coach Myers.
