Taylor Menzies just finished her first year as the Head Coach for the Iowa Lakes Volleyball team. In her first season leading the Lakes in the 2025-2026 season the team finshed with an overall record of 11-21 and a conference record of 4-8.Menzies coached two ICCAC All-Conference players. 

Taylor's college coaching career began in 2022 as an assistant coach at SCC. Then took on the role of head coach at NAIA Mission University from 2023-2025, where she developed the volleyball program.  In her first season, she led the team to an appearance in the NCCAA National tournament. In her second season, guided the team into their first appearance into the NAIA and American Midwest Conference, achieving a 5th place finish out of 12 teams and coaching three all-conference and one all-region players.

Menzies obtained a Master's degree in Sports Management from Missouri State University in 2024. She received her undergraduate degree from Keiser University in 2021, with a Bacholors of Sceinece in Interdisciplinary Studies with connections in Sports Management and Psychology. She played volleyball at Keiser University for 2years after transferring from Southeastern Community College. At SCC Menzies graduated with her Associates of Arts and played her freshman and sophomore seasons.
