Iowa Lakes dropped a road matchup to Kirkwood on Wednesday night, 92–67.

Sophomore guard Jermaine Freeman led the Lakers with 20 points, while freshman forward Timothy Ofesi added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Joey Gagnon contributed 9 rebounds to help Iowa Lakes finish with 37 boards on the night.

Kirkwood shot 54% from the field and used a balanced offensive attack to pull away, led by Manasse Kasongo's 27 points.

Iowa Lakes returns to action Saturday as the Lakers continue ICCAC play at #2 DMACC at 3 pm.
