Iowa Lakes earned a huge win with a 1-0 in the Region XI semifinals over Marshalltown. Leonardo Seixas was the one who scored that crucial goal, he had two shots on goal and was able to find the back of the net with one of them. It was his fourth goal of the season that he has paired that with two assists, totaling ten points for the freshman midfielder. Next up for the Lakers is a game against Iowa Western for the Region XI Championship.
