Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer is proud to announce two players being selected for player of the week.
Sophomore defender Logan Roach scored twice in the past week with goals against Laramie and Jefferson. Roach's goal against Jefferson was an incredible effort and a goal of the season contender. Picking the ball up around the halfway line, Logan fired off an absolute missile of a shot from 25+ yards out with bend and swerve, finding the side netting. His incredible week saw him with nine shots, six of them on target.
Sophomore goalkeeper Dion Zhubi was named ICCAC Men's Division 1 goalkeeper of the week after keeping a clean-sheet against Jefferson on Saturday. Zhubi had to come up with four big saves to keep the shutout, and his reactions and timing were spot-on with several crucial clearances. Dion currently has eight stops combined in the 192 minutes he's played.
