Iowa Lakes Community College women's basketball earned a 55-40 victory over Southeastern Community College on Saturday afternoon. Zoey Wooten led all scorers with 17 points, while Baakir Christian added 10 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. Shanya Glover also grabbed 8 rebounds and contributed 8 points and 6 assists.

The game stayed tight through the first three quarters, with the Lakers holding a four-point advantage after the first quarter and again at halftime. Iowa Lakes extended the lead to 38-30 heading into the fourth before pulling away by outscoring the Blackhawks 17-10 in the final period.

With the win, the Lakers improve to 15-4 in conference play and 19-7 overall. Iowa Lakes will return home to face North Iowa Area Community College in Estherville on Wednesday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m.
